BSF shoots a drone in Jammu close to the International Border

Late in the afternoon on Tuesday night, a drone was found close to the International Border in Jammu's Arnia. When it was detected, BSF staff shot on the drone.


The drone vanished when BSF staff opened fire. It has been retracted on Pakistani side by drone operators.

BSF said in a declaration, "On the night of the intervention of July 13 and July 14, our forces in the Arnia area saw the flashing red light at around 9:52 p.m. on their own, 200 metres away. Alert soldiers shot at the red blinking light from their location, where they came back. The search is made for the region. So far, nothing was found."

Two bombs were dropped at IAF Jammu in the early hours of 27 June, causing slight injury on two people in what were the first instance of Pakistan-based terrorists to use drones to target key facilities.

At about 1.40 a.m., the explosions occurred within 6 minutes. In the technical part of the IAF operated in the Satwari region on the outskirts of Jammu the first float ripped off the roof of a single-story structure. The second was on the floor.

Under order to save aerial space close to important facilities and densely populated regions, the action will assist avoid confusión in the current circumstances.

"Every drone in the district must be recorded. Any and all damages to a person or property caused by mismanagement or malfunction of the drone or any else are liaable to its owner and operator, "The order has been specified.
